How to Use Our Business Card Design Templates

Our templates are designed to help you create perfectly formatted artwork for your postcards. Follow these simple steps to ensure your postcard design is set up correctly:

Step 1: Access the Postcard Templates

Click on the link below to visit our Google Drive folder, where all postcard templates are organized by size and format:

Once you’re in the folder:

Choose the postcard template that matches your project specifications.
Click on the desired file, and then download it to your computer by clicking the download button.

Step 2: Open the Postcard Template in a Design Program

Use popular design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator to open the downloaded card template.

Step 3: Understand the Postcard Guidelines

Red Line (Cut Line): This indicates where your finished postcard will be trimmed. Make sure no important design elements are too close to this line.
Blue Line (Safety Line): Keep all essential text, logos, and design elements inside this line to ensure they are not trimmed.
Outer Border (Bleed Area): Extend your background or design elements beyond the cut line to this area for a seamless edge on your postcard.

Step 4: Design on Top of the Postcard Template

Add your artwork, text, and images directly on top of the postcard template. Once you’re done designing:

Hide or remove the template layer.
If you are using a program like Adobe Illustrator, make sure to convert all fonts to outlines to avoid font issues during printing.
Save your business card design file in the required format (e.g., PDF, AI, PSD).
Send the completed file to us.
